Please join Nat and Susan Tileston on Sunday, Oct. 18, 1 – 3 pm upstairs at ARCAC, 396 St. George St., Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia,  to celebrate 10 years of the MY STORY photo project.  Since 2006, the Tilestons have been helping  Burmese refugees, youth at risk, and women at risk along the Thai-Burma (Myanmar) border document their lives through photography.  Both the Tilestons had spent their working lives as photographers in New York and Nova Scotia, and Susan served as the executive director of ARCAC from its beginnings until 2000.

This year’s exhibition features images from community workers in northern Burma, HIV+ women in Thailand, and new photo workshop leaders who have just completed their instructors’ course.

Images are for sale, with half the proceeds going to the photographer and half to the MSPPA for the purchase of new cameras.
