Computers don’t bite!

Editing their images

Mounting the exhibition with a little help from a tall friend

6 women at the Social Action for Women Health Care House, ages 17 to 52 looking at us expectantly.  With little camera experience and less computer knowledge these women blew us away with their images.  All are HIV positive and have little to occupy their days so they had time to take pictures…and more pictures.

From the ‘committee of dogs’ that guard the soi where the house is to portraits in lush fields, they shot it all.  Aye Nwe even overcame her fear of the computer track pad and learned to navigate through her iPhoto folder.  Whooohoo!
